These terms govern transport arrangements made through Spring Auto Trans LLC (“Spring”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a quote or booking a shipment you agree to them.
1. Our role
Spring is a licensed vehicle transportation company (MC 1733541, USDOT 4412390). We arrange transport with independent, federally authorised motor carriers. We do not own or operate the vehicles that carry your car. The assigned carrier is responsible for the physical transport and for the cargo while it is in their care.
2. Quotes and pricing
Indicative prices shown on this website are estimates. Your confirmed price is the one your coordinator gives you in writing before dispatch. If the details you provide change, including vehicle condition, dimensions, modifications or addresses, the price may be re-quoted before a carrier is assigned.
3. Booking, deposit and payment
- A booking deposit is due once a carrier is assigned to your shipment.
- The balance is payable on delivery to the carrier, or to Spring where agreed, by the method confirmed at booking.
- Business accounts may be offered net terms subject to approval.
4. Pickup and delivery windows
Unless you book dedicated transport with a guaranteed date, pickup and delivery are scheduled within windows. Dates are estimates that can be affected by weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical issues and regulations governing driver hours.
5. Vehicle preparation
You agree to prepare the vehicle as described in our guidance, including removing personal items, disclosing modifications, low clearance, leaks or mechanical issues, and ensuring the vehicle is in the condition described at booking.
6. Inspection and claims
The vehicle's condition is recorded on the Bill of Lading at pickup and delivery. Any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery before signing. Claims are made against the carrier's cargo insurance; we will assist you throughout. Personal items left in the vehicle are not covered.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel without charge before a carrier is assigned. After assignment, the deposit may be non-refundable where the carrier has already committed equipment to your shipment.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Spring's liability is limited to the fees paid to Spring for the shipment in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
